Starlight Lily QAL: Week 2

Phew! Making this video was a bit of a comedy of errors. First, I somehow recorded a bunch of segments in super slo-mo, which was sort of hilarious but not very informative; then my hands were out of the frame in a series of steps, also bad! So, lots of re-recording later…. I hope the finished product, while far from perfect, helps you understand all the steps in making this block!

In the video I refer to some precut sizes of fabric. If you bought your pattern early, your version does not have these precuts. I had some feedback that the way I actually do my paper piecing—working with larger subcuts of fabrics—might be confusing, so I made some changes to clarify. Just let me know if you have the earlier version, and I’ll send you the revised PDF right away!
