Harbor Quilt: Call for pattern testers!

Hello Pattern Testers!

I am looking for a handful of testers for this throw-size quilt. Harbor showcases the New York Beauty block, which remind me of the Statue of Liberty’s crown and it’s place in New York City’s harbor. I love the New York Beauty block! It looks so impressive but with the help of paper piecing it is much easier to put together than it looks. The pattern is made of 16 NYB blocks with some pieced sashing and it toes the line between modern and traditional—my quilting sweet spot.

• As a tester, you will receive the complete pattern as a PDF. You will also receive a PDF of the final pattern when it is released.

• Finished quilt tops and comments are due September 9.

• Testers are responsible for:

  • Posting progress shots and a finished image to Instagram using #harborquilt

  • Providing detailed feedback on the pattern by September 9.

• I will promote your work on my Instagram accounts @brigitgail and @brigitgailpatterns

• Pattern testers will be invited to join an Instagram group where you can get to know your fellow testers and troubleshoot; I am actively engaged with the group and will answer questions whenever they arise.

If you are selected as a pattern tester, I will send more details and specific questions that I have about the pattern.

About the Pattern

• Fabric quantities are in the chart

• Level: Intermediate

• Finished size is 60” x 60”

• Pattern includes all necessary templates

• Skills: templates, paper piecing, sewing curves
