Broadcast Quilt: Call for pattern testers!

THIS CALL FOR TESTERS IS NOW CLOSED. I am overwhelmed by the very kind response to this call for testers and now have more than enough people! I am so grateful for all the interest!

I’ve made a lot of quilts and Broadcast might just be my favorite—and I had so much fun making this new version. The pattern was originally featured in Modern Patchwork and this new PDF pattern is much more detailed and corrects some errors in the original. Now, I need some pattern testers to help make the pattern perfect! Broadcast features several types of drunkard path blocks—half circles, quarter circles and orange peel. It is assembled nine-patch style and is a great pattern for color lovers. If you like to sew curves, then this is the pattern for you! Here are the details for testers:

• As a tester, you will receive the complete pattern as a PDF. You will also receive a PDF of the final pattern when it is released.

• Finished quilt tops are due February 22.

• Testers are responsible for:

  • Posting progress shots and a finished image to instagram using #broadcastquilt

  • Providing detailed feedback on the pattern, also by February 22.

• I will promote your work on my instagram accounts @brigitgail and @brigitgailpatterns

If you are selected as a pattern tester, I will send more details and specific questions that I have about the pattern.

About the pattern:

• Level: Intermediate to Advanced

• Finished size is 63” x 63”.

• Pattern includes templates

• Fabric requirements for the quilt top:

  • Background color: 4 yards

  • 1/2 yard each of the colors A, B, C, D and E
