Thanks for visiting Brigit Gail!
I have been sewing since we girls were taught needlework in my English primary school. (Yes, my school was a little backward, even for the 1970s.) A few classes spent hand sewing a little blue gingham apron and I was hooked. I couldn’t believe I made something so pretty and useful from a square of cloth, needle and thread.
I feel the same way about making quilts. The whole process from design to hand sewing the binding enchant me and the end product is something beautiful and functional. My quilts and patterns have been featured in Modern Patchwork magazine and I have had quilts shown at QuiltCon in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
I hope you enjoy reading about my quilt making and other sewing. I would love to hear from you!
